Rob Biggin and his company Rainmaker-Coaching are focused on IT companies that have a significant team of client facing services deliverers, project managers and consultants.
He and his team, by applying a combination of consulting, training, coaching and mentoring help these people and their organisations develop deeper relationships and more business with their clients.
He passionately believes that the skills of the Rainmaker are complementary but different to those of selling and he specifically targets non-salespeople to attend his training and coaching sessions. His aim is to keep the services team as Trusted Advisors to their clients. However by adding the skills of the Rainmaker the team can demonstrate more interest in their clients and become business opportunity generators. He also knows that they must not and cannot lose their integrity. However they can use their powerful position to ethically influence clients to do more business with them and their organisations.
Rob regularly advises all kinds of clients from Microsoft to small start-ups on how to improve their businesses performance and regularly coaches the senior executives in the companies to find their own way of using the techniques of the Rainmaker to improve their own performance and that of their company.
Rob has worked for over 30 years in the IT industry. Before setting up Rainmaker Coaching in 2002, he was EMEA Director of Marketing for Hewlett–Packard’s Multi $Bn IT Services business prior to that he spent time in Sales Management, Marketing and General Management positions.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting, is an NLP Master Practitioner and holds a Diploma in Coaching for Business Performance.
