MoD LE TacCISMoD LE TacCISIntellect has been working with the MOD to support its industry engagement strategy around the future acquisition of battlefield Tactical Communications and Information Systems (TacCIS). In late March 2012 Intellect run a workshop for the MOD focusing on Land Environment Tactical CIS Programme Legacy Support Sub-Programme.
In November 2011 Intellect ran sessions for the MOD focusing specifically on the Legacy Support, Successor and Assessment Phase sub-programmes.
In September 2011 Intellect ran a Concept Viability workshop for the MOD, exploring industry’s views on how existing MOD contract terms and conditions may constrain innovation and how better incentivisation might achieve improved value for money (VFM).
DCNSDCNSDCNS is an Information and Communications Services (ICS) Acquisition Change Programme aimed at delivering better end-to-end ICS with greater agility and at less cost. DCNS represents a step change in approach to the acquisition of integrated end-to-end ICS and is the label applied to the acquisition change programme as a whole. It comprises an ISS Delivery Programme, a revised ISS organisation and process changes. The key components are: a Services Portfolio; a Target Supply Chain Model; a Target Operating Model and a Delivery Programme. Download the March 2012 fact pack.
