Andrea Tucker Andrea TuckerHead of Defence and Security Programmes Defence and Security Andrea Tucker is a programme manager in Intellect's Defence and Security sector. She advises Intellect’s members on defence issues and promotes their interests to the Ministry of Defence and other UK government bodies. Prior to joining Intellect, Andrea worked as a freelance analyst at Aegis writing country-risk reports on countries in Asia. Before moving to the UK, she worked at the US Department of Defense's National Strategic Gaming Center where she designed crisis simulations on a variety of international and domestic security topics for US Congress members and senior executive branch officials. Andrea has a MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and a BA in History and Political Science from Bucknell University. She currently manages our information security & assurance, security & resilience, cyber security, identity management, and local government programmes She graduated from Brunel University with a degree in Politics and Sociology and prior to joining Intellect she spent five years working in central government. Gordon leads the defence and security team for Intellect and has over 25 years experience in the defence and security industry. Prior to Intellect he worked in technical roles for UK Government and spent time in senior management roles for EDS (now HP), Detica and Steria. Before joining Intellect, Joseph interned at Chatham House, worked in the Law Department of the London School of Economics (LSE), and taught English in Japan. He holds a BSc in International Relations from LSE and an MA in Pacific Asian Studies from SOAS. In his spare time he likes reading, taking photos, going to the cinema and listening to music.
