The future of digital terrestrial broadcastingThe completion of digital switchover in the UK looks likely to be achieved successfully with very little political or media turbulence. Much praise is due to Digital UK and others for their project management work.

Much of the success too, is down to the fact that most of the population switched themselves over to digital, years ahead in many cases, of the date their analogue was switched off.

Praise for that is due to the innovation of broadcasters in creating and marketing compelling digital content, and to the manufacturers for innovating and marketing desirable digital devices.
