Welcome to the Intellect Supply Chain Portal. The key aim is to provide practical advice and guidance to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness for each actor within the supply chain.
In researching the issues that led to the portal, we found that the basis of much supply chain tension and dissatisfaction arises from poor implementation of good practice and lack of understanding in terms of business drivers and constraints throughout the chain. Therefore, we have aimed to offer practical advice and guidance based on real project experiences, and links to supporting documents, guidelines, and best practice.
We have focused on the supply chain within public sector IT procurement, but many of the challenges and mitigating actions apply elsewhere. The aim is for the site to evolve and grow through the addition of valuable views, guidance and links from all members: please help us to do this by contributing your experiences.
