Promoting evidence of where technology is driving outcomes is a hot topic across the education sector and part of Intellect’s new ‘Connected Skills’ campaign.
At this Education Group meeting Dr Don Passey will share his own insights and findings of evidence for teaching and learning outcomes achieved through the use of leading edge technologies. We will also be joined by Kieron Kirkland, Nominet Trust, to add his perspective on the investment arguments for education technology.
Dr Don Passey is a specialist in Education Technology research and has undertaken studies for the government department in England, government agencies, and, in a number of countries, commercial and non-commercial groups, educational institutions and schools to inform both policy and practice.
Kieron is a development researcher at the Nominet Trust with a particular focus on impact assessment and learning. Before joining the Trust, Kieron worked as a learning researcher for Futurelab where he developed a number of projects on educational innovation, games-based learning and young people's rights and entitlements. The Nominet Trust invests in projects where digital resources are being mobilised to create positive social change.
