At a glance: the committee covers reliability engineering, including integrated logistic support, availability and maintainability with the aim of influencing the development of enabling methods, practices and procedures.
Meeting dates
Focus: interfacing with the MoD CODERM organisation (Committee for Defence Equipment Reliability & Maintainability) and with the national and international regulatory and standards-making bodies governing this field with the aim of influencing the development of enabling methods, practices and procedures. The committee will take action as necessary on issues arising from reliability requirements to influence the shape of national and international standards in such a way as to prevent UK manufacturers from being disadvantaged. The committee will determine Intellect policy, as it pertains to reliability, on COTS (Commercial off the Shelf) testing methods and tools, etc and disseminate it to MoD, DPA and DLO.
