Parallel Conference Day Two

As part of the inaugural UK Space Conference on Tuesday 5th July 2011 at the University of Warwick, ESERO-UK organised a dedicated space education day.
Specifically designed for primary and secondary teachers, the day included a plethora of exciting space-related workshops, including plenary lectures. Dr Lucie Green, a solar researcher based at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory at University College, London, talked about 'Living in the Sun's atmosphere', Professor David Cullen from Cranfield University gave a lecture aimed at primary school teachers about the possibility of 'Life on Mars' and Dr Lewis Dartnell, also from University College, London, talked about the 'Hunt for alien life'.
