SME Zone | Intellect & Bank of England regional roundtable events

BankIn 2009 Intellect launched a series of regional roundtable events in collaboration with the Bank of England’s regional agents.

The aim of these meetings is to explore the current state and trends of the UK economy by region. Particular areas of interest include: growth of demand, international demand, investment, employment, pay and prices.

The information obtained from these meetings forms the basis of regular reports to the Bank’s economists and to the Monetary Policy Committee. Please note that these meetings are held under the Chatham House Rule and all contributions are treated with the utmost confidence.

The Bank of England is issuing the monthly summary of business conditions in the United Kingdom, as reported by the Bank's Agents.
