Bank of England
The Bank of England is issuing the monthly summary of business conditions in the United Kingdom, as reported by the Bank's Agents.

Capital for Enterprise Ltd
Capital for Enterprise Limited (‘CfEL’) is an asset management business that designs, implements and manages finance measures to support Small and Medium Size enterprises ('SMEs') across the UK. It is the largest single investor in UK Venture Capital funds and manages guarantee programmes to support bank lending.

Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS)
Aimed at UK based business it covers such issues as competitiveness, export promotion and export licensing.

Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
The Department for Work and Pensions leads the Government's response to some of the biggest issues facing the country - welfare and pension reform - and is a key player in tackling child poverty. It is the biggest public service delivery department in the UK and serves over 20 million customers.

Greater London Enterprise
GLE Group is an economic development company, wholly owned by all 33 London boroughs and therefore in a unique position to deliver economic regeneration across the capital. GLE is influential in formulating public policy, developing innovative delivery solutions.

Health and Safety Executive
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is a non-departmental public body responsible for the encouragement, regulation and enforcement of workplace health, safety and welfare, and for research into occupational risks in England and Wales and Scotland.

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC)
Includes information about the UK's customs and tax department and includes the prototype on-line VAT (Value Added Tax) returns system.

Intellectual Property Office (IPO)
IPO is the official government body responsible for Intellectual Property (IP) rights in the United Kingdom. These rights include: Patents; Designs; Trade marks; Copyright. IPO is an Executive Agency of the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS). As part of the BIS, they are responsible for the role of IP rights in supporting innovation.

The London Innovation Network
The London Innovation Network provides tailored support to enable businesses to access European funding, to engage with the opportunities of the European Single Market and to promote knowledge transfer and innovation. The work is being delivered within the Commission’s new ‘Enterprise Europe Network’ which offers a comprehensive range of services for European SMEs, entrepreneurs, research centres and universities.
