Intellect has set up a series of Board sponsor groups to receive briefings from staff, member group leaders and members to enable the Board to understand:

• members' priorities and goals 
• the external landscape; e.g national/international policy developments, key stakeholders, market developments 
• Intellect's approach and plans to meet these goals

The Intellect Communications and Policy Council was launched in March 2011 and is the amalgamation of the Intellect Communications Council and the Intellect Wireless Council.

Mainly on a strategic level, the Intellect Communications and Policy Council  deals proactively with policy and regulations affecting  fixed and wireless communications.

Intellect Ofcom Forum

Set up to provide a high level strategic forum to discuss matters of keen interest to members, the Intellect Ofcom Forum meets four times a year and is chaired by a senior member of Ofcom.
