With over 40 years of experience in the information technology industry, Chris Woodward has experienced the rising importance of software systems in the workplace at first hand. As a consultant with CSC and then as an independent measurement specialist working with SMS, Chris majors on IT management issues with particular emphases on management processes. He has conducted considerable research into IT best practice, including governance, human resource management, IT procurement, project and programme management, advanced systems development, and human aspects of change.
He has extensive experience of functional size measurement, with in-depth knowledge of both IFPUG and COSMIC measurement methods. His recent engagements include working with clients in outsourcing partnerships to measure and analyse the value delivered by suppliers. He has previously run due diligence work associated with outsourcing business, and researched and authored on IT procurement. He is an experienced and popular trainer.
