Space Policy The conference will be opened by the Minister for Universities and Science, David Willetts MP who will be joined by senior colleagues from the European Space Agency, the European Commission and UK industry to launch the conference and set the scene for "The New Space Economy". The focus will be on economic growth delivered through space systems and space services, outlining how government, the European institutions and industry can work together to deliver jobs, economic recovery and benefits to citizens.
